This means the Arctis 1 is that mythical one headset to rule them all that I mentioned earlier. ![]() However, it’s more this combination of microphone, drivers, design and wireless didn’t exist. Well, the wireless technology isn’t really new, as SteelSeries already had that on other models. If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it… or at least don’t change it too much. So you get the look, you get the sound, and that’s fine with me. You have a design that has many of the traits of their flagship Arctis Pro. We have the same drivers from one of the best selling headsets, and they sound superb. The last few headsets from SteelSeries looked fantastic and performed even better than that. That’s not a bad thing from any perspective though. I feel like I’ve already reviewed it a couple of times. I rather like this headset, but then again, it would be awkward if I didn’t. However, it is about twice the price of the wired version, but given the USB Type-C features, lag-free dongle, etc, the cost difference isn’t wholly unexpected. It’s about the same price as the Corsair HS70, Logitech G Pro X, Corsair VOID Pro, etc. ![]() That’s not exactly cheap, but it’s about right for the level of features. It’s on Amazon for £99.99 in the UK and Amazon US for just $99.99. The SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless is available right now from most major retailers. ![]()
